Commercial solar. Built around your business.

Complete turnkey commercial solar planning and delivery, backed by 15 years in the solar industry.

A commercial solar project needs to work with your building, operations and long-term plans. With 15 years in the solar industry, Solar Associates helps businesses and property owners define the opportunity, assess the practical requirements, and coordinate a complete turnkey solution.

Experienced coordination for a more complex project.

Commercial projects often bring several parties together: building owners, operations teams, engineers, utilities, contractors and decision-makers. We help organize their inputs into a clear project scope with defined responsibilities and an understandable delivery path.

Start with your business priorities

We consider electricity use, operating hours, property ownership, roof or land suitability, planned expansion and operational constraints. Warehouses, farms, industrial buildings and other commercial properties each require a site-specific assessment. Where the decision requires deeper analysis, a feasibility study can compare options and set out the assumptions before you move forward.

Plan around operations and asset life

The installation plan should account for access, work areas, deliveries, electrical interruptions and the needs of your staff or tenants. We also discuss roof condition and future building work so those considerations can be addressed before the system is installed.

The whole project, brought together.

Solar Associates provides a complete turnkey approach with a clear point of contact. We coordinate the work required for your specific site and bring the stages into one agreed plan. Your proposal identifies what is included, who is responsible, and any allowances or outstanding requirements.

Assessment, design and engineering

We start with your goals, electricity use and property information. Site assessment considers available space, shading, roof or land conditions, electrical infrastructure, and practical access. We coordinate system design and the structural or electrical engineering inputs needed for the project.

Building permits, inspections and applicable approvals

We help establish the municipal requirements for the proposed installation and coordinate supporting information, drawings, building permit applications and required building permit inspections. Planning these steps early helps you understand the dependencies before an installation date is agreed.

Hydro applications, ESA permits and inspections

We coordinate hydro applications and the utility connection process and project information required by your electricity distributor. The turnkey scope also addresses Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) permits / notifications of work, inspection coordination and the required project records. Engineering and regulated electrical work are carried out by the appropriate qualified and licensed professionals.

Equipment procurement and installation

The agreed design guides panel, inverter, mounting and other equipment selection. We coordinate procurement, site preparation, installation and electrical work, alongside any agreed upgrades. You know the responsibilities and sequence before work begins.

Testing, commissioning and monitoring activation

We coordinate final system checks, commissioning and the steps needed before operation. Where monitoring is included, we coordinate activation of the monitoring system, arrange access, and explain how to view production and available system information.

Documentation and handover

Handover brings together equipment details, warranties, applicable approval records, commissioning information and support contacts. We explain the completed installation, recommended care and the process for raising a question after installation. Your proposal sets out the ongoing support included.

Leading technology. Strong warranty protection.

We pride ourselves on selecting from the best technology the solar industry has to offer, with industry-leading warranties available on selected equipment. We consider performance, compatibility, reliability and manufacturer support when recommending panels, inverters, mounting systems and battery options.

Your proposal identifies the selected products and their warranty coverage, including the applicable terms for equipment, panel performance and installation workmanship. At handover, we help you understand the warranty documents and who to contact for support.

Other requirements? We plan for those too.

Every property has its own needs. Roof work, electrical upgrades, trenching, foundations, access arrangements, battery storage and other site-specific work may affect the project. We identify these early and establish whether they are included in the proposal or require separate coordination.

Clear information for decision-makers

A commercial proposal should explain the scope, expected performance assumptions, project costs and delivery dependencies. Where financial modelling is included, we organize the assumptions and scenarios so your team can evaluate the project against its objectives. Estimated benefits are assessed for your site and operating profile.

What to bring to the first conversation

We can start at the idea stage or help clarify a project you have already begun planning.
